Students participating in a march taken out by Inqualabi Kender to celebrate the 106th birth anniversary of the national martyr Sukhdev Thapar at Ludhiana on Wednesday.

Ludhiana, May 15, 2013: The 106th birth anniversary of the national martyr Sukhdev Thapar was celebrated at various places across the city on Wednesday.
Those who celebrated the day included Inqualabi Kender and Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar Welfare Society.
Inqualabi Kender takeout a march as a mark of respect and tributes to the national martyr who laid down his life for freedom of the country, in which schoolchildren also participated in large numbers. Participants garlanded the statue of the martyr.
Besides, a play on the martyr’s sacrifice was also organised.
Meanwhile, a candle march was organised at Dugri.
