Ludhiana, May 2, 2013: Hira Singh Gabria Chairman District Development and Planning Board, Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh National Vice President Shiromani Akali Dal and Baba Ajit Singh Senior Akali leader in a joint statement issued here today expressed deep grief over the death of Sarabjit Singh in Jinah Hospital, Pakistan. They said that Sarabjit Singh has been got killed through a planned conspiracy hatched by Pakistan Government.
The leaders appreciated the announcement of Chief Minister Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal for ordering state-level cremation of Sarbjit Singh at his village Bhikhivind tomorrow, a financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore to family and government services to both of his daughters.
They also described the family as the honour of society and appealed the people to give the family great respect.
