Ludhiana, May 1, 2013: A sudden fire broke out in a mobile shop namely Shri Sachidanand NK Gallery, near Mata Rani Chowk, here, on Tuesday.
The owners of the shop learnt about the fire at around 9 am.
Fire tenders were put in service. The firemen had to broke down glasses of the shop to free the shop premises from heavy smoke due to the sudden fire.
It is feared that short circuit was the reason behind the fire.
The owners had left the shop after work in the late evening on Sunday. It was monthly off of mobile shops in the market.
The exact loss is being assessed.
Once panic was created among the nearby shopkeepers due to the fire. However, they felt a sigh of relief once the fire was extinguished.
