The Hans Raj Maha Vidyalya (HMV) College, Jalandhar on Saturday organised a colourful farewell function for outgoing students of PG classes.
Jalandhar, April 27, 2013: The Hans Raj Maha Vidyalya (HMV) College on Saturday organised a colourful farewell function for outgoing students of PG classes. The students of First year PG classes bid a heartfelt farewell to their seniors. Going through the memory lane, they recollected many such moments which they had shared with their seniors during their stay in the college.
A cultural programme was organized for outgoing students in which young girls attired in colourful dresses participated with zest and enthusiasm. Students played various games, participated in Modelling Rounds, Balloon Dance and Songs. On the basis of their performance in various items, they were adorned with the title of Ms HMV, Ms Ethnic and Ms Charming.
The outgoing students handed over ‘Vidya Jyoti’ to their juniors implying thereby that they should maintain the traditions of the institution.
Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj blessed the students and prayed for their bright future. She exhorted them to keep up the traditions and values of the institution.
On this occasion, Rama Chaudhary, P. Clair, Navroop, Mamta, Binoo Gupta, Shallu Batra and Dr. Nidhi Bal were present.
