Jalandhar, January 17, 2013: The newly state president of BJP kamal Sharma was given warm welcome here today.
He arrived here after paying obeisance at Harmandir Sahib at Amritsar. On his arrival here, he was given warm welcome at Bhagat Singh Colony, Maqsudan, near DAV College, Ali Mohalla, Shree Ram Chowk (Company Bagh Chowk) and Circuit House by the party men.
He was garlanded and given Siropa.
Addressing the party men, Sharma reiterated that he was committed to the commitments of the party. He said the party’s ultimate goal was to come back at the Centre, adding the ruling alliance would win all the 13 seats in coming elections to the parliament.
Among others, BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia, MLA, Punjab Minister Bhagat Chuni Lal, Mayor Sunil Jyoti , CPS Krishan Dev Bhandari, Ravi Mahendru, Rakesh Rathore, Rajat Kumar Mohindru, Rakesh Goel, Vijay Sampla and Mohinder Bhagat were present.
