ELECTORATES OF MOGA in mood to bring change

Moga, February 18, 2013: Rana Gurjit Singh MLA , AICC Member Tajinder Bittu ex Chairman Improvement Trust Jalandhar, Sanjay Sehgal Advisor Member RTI and Grievances Cell Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, Dynamic Group Councillors Jalandhar and Senior Congress Activist on Saturday conducted door to door campaign in favour of Congress Candidate Vijay Sathi.
Sehgal told on Monday that they observed that  electorates of Moga wanted change as they felt that they had been betrayed by the ruling SAD-BJP government in the state.
He claimed that there existed anti-state government sentiments among the masses who strongly felt that the state government had been following “anti-people” policies.
He said electorates also considered that the Congress candidate Vijay Sathi was an educated person (Advocate) and on the other hand the SAD-BJP combine candidate Joginder Pal Jain was allegedly involved in a customs case and also under the IPC.
Briefing about his further observations about the Moga bye-election, he said the state government had failed to give results in the last one year. Rather, the state government had been introducing newer taxes with the passage of time. As a result, every section of the society was suffering.
He also believed that electorates of the Moga assembly segment were in a mood to bring a change in the political scenario of Punjab.
