Amritsar, February 18, 2013: All India Inter-University Kho-Kho (Women) Championship was inaugurated at the Guru Nanak Dev University Campus here today.
This Championship was organised by Association of Indian Universities and hosted by the University would be concluded on February 22.
Dr. H.S. Randhawa, Deputy Director (Sports) and Head while inaugurating this Championship welcomed all the winning teams from their respective zones which are participating in this championship.
In the 'A' Pool GNDU defeated Kalyani University by 20-9 points. Mangalore University defeated RTM Nagpur by 18-16 points. In 'B' Pool Kerela University defeated Pt. Ravi Shank University, Raipur by 10-7 points Shivaji University Kohlapur defeated Allahabad University by 8-6 points.
Similarly, in 'C' Pool Calicut University defeated Pune University by 27-14 points. Delhi University defeated GGU Bilaspur by 20-1 points. In 'D' Pool Mumbai University defeated Punjabi University, Chandigarh by 16-8 points Mysore University defeated West Bengal by 11-5 points.
