Vishav Punjabi Sahit Vichar Manch in collaboration with Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana on Saturday organising a literary function at Punbai Bhawan, Ludhiana to debate on novel ‘---te Ganga Vagdi Rahi’ written by Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Minhas.
Ludhiana, February 8, 2014: Vishav Punjabi Sahit Vichar Manch in collaboration with Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana organised a literary function at Punbai Bhawan, Ludhiana to debate on novel ‘---te Ganga Vagdi Rahi’ written by Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Minhas. In the Presidium eminent novelist Dr Jaswant Singh Kanwal, Prof Narijan Tasneem, President of Sirjandhara Karamjit Singh Aujla and President of Manch Pritam Pandher were present. Dr. Pandher welcomed the guests.
Dr. Kanwal said that knowledge can build a society of enlightenment. A real saint has to burn himself like candle then he can burn the social evils in the society.
Prof Tasneem appreciated Dr. Minhas for writing such a novel in Punjabi literature.
Dalvir Singh Ludhianvi while conducting the stage said that ‘---te Ganga Vagdi Rahi’ novel is depicting the life of saints in a beautiful way.
While replying the questions rose in the debate, Dr. Mihnas said that the life of a saint is like that of flowers that emanates fragrance for others to lead a better life.
Dr. Gulzar Pandher and Pritam Pritam Pandher read their papers on the novel. Others who took part in the debate on the novel viz Prof Jatinderbir Singh Nanda, Dr. Balwinder Aulakh, Prinical Inderjit Pal Kaur Bhindar, Prin. Hari Krishan Maihr, Vishwa Mittar etc.
The said function was participated by the leading literary laureats Tarlochan Jhanda, Daler Singh Josh, Prin. Prem Singh Bajaj, Sruuinder Kale, Janmeja Johl, Satnam Singh Komal, Er.Surjan Singh, Ravinder Diwana, etc.
