Non-Teaching Staff of HMV Unit at Jalandhar on Wednesday hold dharna.
Jalandhar, January 29, 2014: Non-Teaching Staff of HMV Unit hold dharna as per the directions of Private Colleges Non-Teaching Employees Union Punjab and Chandigarh under presidentship of Raman Behl.
On dharna, senior leader Amarjit Khanna emphasised on fulfilling the demands of the Union. The demands included arrears w.e.f. 01/01/2006, lifting of ban from the non-teaching posts of aided colleges, implementation of revised grade pay w.e.f. 1-12-11, implementation of 4:9:14 step up increment, earned leave and leave encashment, enhanced medical allowance and house rent, CCA, pension & gratuity etc. to the aided colleges of the state. He appealed the Punjab Government to accept the genuine demands of the union for the best interest of the studies of the students.
On this occasion, the members of the union Kulwant Singh, Raman Behl, Pankaj Jyoti, Lakhwinder Singh, Babu Ram, Ravi Maini, Rajit Uppal, Rajiv Bhatia, Rajesh Kumar, Gurjeet Kaur, Seema K.
