“Anti-copying Awareness Campaign” session being organised at Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology on Friday.
Ludhiana, January 17, 2014: “Anti-copying Awareness Campaign” session was organised at Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology on Friday. Punjab School Education Board and Punjab Government has launched “Anti-copying Awareness Campaign” by organising various programmes, to create awareness among the students and society about the pros and cons of copying during the Exams apart from building anti-copying atmosphere.
Chief Guest for the occasion Nirmal Singh Dhillon, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana was welcomed by Dr. Pawan Kumar, Principal and VK Gupta, Chairman, Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology.
During the session Shruti Shukla, Deputy Director (Environment), Paramjit Kaur, DEO, Ludhiana and Gurjot Singh, Deputy DEO (Secondary), Ludhiana mentioned that number of students become victim of mass copying cases. Despite strictness the check over the mass copying in Board exams are hollow and the education department has taken serious note of copying during the exams and have started “anti-copying awareness campaign”.
More than 1000 participants including principals and staff of various schools were present on this 18th “Anti-copying Awareness Campaign” drive which is continuing throughout Punjab State.
