Jalandhar, January 6, 2014: Punjabi Member Parliament in Canada Jasbir Singh Sandhu who represents Surrey North Parliament Seat was given a warm welcome at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar City in a function held in the college premises.
The college principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samara and Punjab Abroad Research Coordinator Prof Gopal Singh Bhuttar honored Jasbir Singh Sandhu alongwith CPI(M) state leader Kulwant Singh Sandhu.
While speaking over the occasion Canadian MP spoke on the Punjabi culture, brotherhood abroad and on the Kamaghatamaru incident. He lauded the Punjabis and said they are hard workers and due their hard working Punjabis in Canada are at news heights of prosperity.
