Seminar on Accountancy being organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on Thursday.

Jalandhar, November 21, 2013: The Department of Commerce and Management of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a seminar on Accountancy in collaboration with ACCA-Association of Chartered Certified Accounts, on 19th November 2013. Ilham Punjani, Business Relation Manager, ACCA, Dubai, highlighted the relevance of the field of accountancy across the globe. She stressed that accountancy courses could provide ample opportunities to the aspirants for a sound career track in Finance, Accounting and Management over the globe. Ilham deliberated on the placement avenues open to the commerce students with apt knowledge of the field, the world over. Dr. Salwan, CEO Higher Education, Apeejay Education Society, New Delhi also interacted with the staff and faculty. The students and faculty of Apeejay Institute of Management were also present for the interaction.
Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the college thanked Ilham Punjani for her illuminating address and stressed that quality knowledge of accountancy was the need of the hour, for a promising placement.
