Jalandhar, August 23, 2013: Arun Kumar of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar was honored with “Best Cadet Award” by No.1 Air Squardan of NCC Air Wing.
He got this award on the basis of his performance and achievements spanning over 2 years. Speaking on the occasion of honoring this cadet Principal Dr. G.S. Samra said that it is matter of honor and pride for the college and NCC department of the college that its student have achieved this rare distinction. He also emphasised that such achievements will inspire the youth to move in the right direction and participate in career oriented NCC programmes.
Sqn. Ldr. Lakhvinder Singh also on this occasion said that it is here worth mentioning that Khalsa College in the recent year have got an additional unit of girls cadets. The NCC department actively organises programmes and activities round the year where the young generations energy and talent is channalized by insuring their participation.
The President of the College Governing Council Balbir Kaur congratulated the student and wished him success in life.
